Maker of the Month for July

I've been blown away by the number of beautiful animal dolls that were made with my sewing patterns in July. I am sure you will feel inspired to get out your sewing machine when you see all the lovely teddy bears, bunny and dog dolls that have been made. Seeing them all really is my favourite thing about designing sewing patterns!  

Each month I collate all of the photos shared with me of the dolls that you have made using my patterns. My daughter Seren, who is 11, gets the fun job of choosing one person to be crowned Maker of the Month. That person will receive their choice of one sewing pattern from my website. They can wait until I launch a new sewing pattern if they already have all of them. Read on to find out who she has chosen this month!

This gorgeous bear couple made by Jeanne really bring a smile to your face. They are so colourful and happy! 

This bright and cheerful puppy that Ashley made is wonderful! She said "Amazing pattern! It’s so easy to follow and some of the cutest patterns I’ve come across. I can’t wait to make more."

This beautiful bunny couple was made by Nelly. She said "Studio Seren always has the most wonderful patterns and this one was no exception. It was very easy to follow with a lot of pictures to help along the way" 

I adore this cute puppy made by Ashley. He looks like he was a lot of fun to make! She said "This is such a well-thought-out and cute sewing pattern. I love it!"

These two bears really bring a smile to your face. I love how Eirini has added names to their overalls. It is such a special touch! Eirini said "Great pattern, love it! So easy to do" 

This bunny that Jayme made is so pretty! The fabric that she has used for the ears is so striking. Jayme said "I had been wanting to make a bunny for some time, but couldn't find the right pattern that made me want to take the leap until I stumbled upon this pattern... I love everything about this pattern!! The steps are very detailed with photos, and the tips are wonderful. Emma has great little video tutorials in her facebook group that shows how to stitch on the ears, arms, and legs, as well as great videos on how to embroider on the mouth and eyes. I made this bunny for my daughters and they absolutely adore her! A fantastic pattern all around with wonderful customer service! Beyond happy with my purchase!!"

Suzan has been busy making lots of bunnies and made five in her first week! They are so addictive to make! 

How beautiful are the fabrics that Jemma has chosen to make her bear from? I love that she has used the pattern hack I shared on Instagram to turn the bear's overalls into a cute romper! She said "PERFECT! I loooove this pattern so much! Very thorough and has great reference pictures!! So many ways to be creative and make it unique to you!! 1000% recommend any patterns from here!! Also super super lovley owner, and willing to help!"

It has been incredible seeing all the dolls you have been making with my sewing patterns this month. Thank you all so much for taking the time to share your creations. It makes me so happy to see how much fun you are having making them. 

Seren took a really long time deciding which doll she liked the best. She asked me if they could all be winners this month! In the end, there was one photo which really stood out as her favourite.  

Congratulations to Jeanne! Seren loved the colours you chose for your bears. She said, "I love the colours and how cute they look together. They are the perfect duo!" I will get in touch with Jeanne so she can choose her free pattern!
