This free sewing pattern and tutorial can be used to make felt Easter egg treat holders. They can be used for Easter egg hunts or as little handmade gifts for children
These felt Easter eggs are so easy to make they could be used as a fun activity to do with your children. There are so many things you can do with them.
In the tutorial I show you how to sew a pocket to the back of them so that you can hide little treats in them. They would make a sweet little gift for your children to give to their friends for Easter. I made lots of them and used them for an Easter egg hunt with my daughter. I filled them with stationary, hair clips and her favourite candy to make her Easter egg hunt really personal and special.
The sewing pattern can also be adapted to make felt Easter egg bunting. I'll show you how in the tutorial
The eggs can be sewn by hand or using a sewing machine if you prefer. You can also stick the decorations on with a glue gun if you are short for time.
You can download the sewing pattern and tutorial using the link below. You will receive a pattern which includes templates for the eggs and all of the decorations. You will be sent step-by-step photographs and instructions including illustrations that explain all of the stitches used in the pattern
